Places we’ve gone eco-inking around Melbourne and beyond
My good friend Jen says that the great thing about my practice with natural pigments and eco-inking is that it offers an experience in the neighbourhood. We don’t have to fly to the Grand Canyon.
She’s right on to it. There’s so much that’s unexpected. There’s the way people learn through experimentation. And I’d say what I love most is the play aspect. Or is it the place aspect?
Here and there 🌱
These are some of the delightful spots where we’ve gathered on Country, made acknowledgements, looked around us and appreciated the season, the visible colour palette, and gone eco-inking together :)

What people say
Those who’ve joined in will say that through the workshop they view the landscape or the river differently. Some say they’ve deepened their appreciation of the local ecology through this creative practice. Some will say, ‘Oooh! that was a sensory feast!’
My friend Jen says, ‘Your practice builds a culture. We need a culture.’
I’m keen to add new places to this list and you may have an idea. Let’s chat!
